The Center for Restorative Programs, formerly San Luis Valley VORP, is a community-based nonprofit organization serving youth-in-conflict in south-central Colorado. Since 1995, the organization has offered face-to-face dialogue between young offenders and their victims. We have grown to include a Parent-Teen Mediation program, as well as several school and community programs. The Center is proud to be the winner of a 2006 El Pomar Award for Excellence. Lend a hand for the Center's next big step!
A display of decorative tiles, designed by local Ethiopian artist Abel Tilahun, is being created for the fundraising campaign and will be permanently installed at the Center. Donors of $100 or more may choose to be recognized on a personalized tile. You can learn more by reading our Spring/Summer 2009 Newsletter. If you would like to make a donation of any size or buy a "hands" tile as part of the Center's campaign to sell 100 tiles @ $100 please click "Donate" below to be directed to our Paypal page. A gift of $100 or more is required for each commemorative tile. Tiles can be donated in your name; in honor of a family, friend, or organization; or in memory of loved ones. Those who do not wish to buy a tile are still welcome to give in the amount of their choosing.
